Kerala has 21 beaches spread across 800 kms of long coast line.. Each of the beaches are distinct in itself. Considering the humid climate of Kerala beaches are a favourite instant get away. Kerala is bordered by Western ghat hill on the eastern side. It is a continuous hill range regulating the rain and tropical forest. There are many hill stations which can be visited throughout the year. The uniqueness of these hill stations is that it is untouched by the modern rush and retain there calm and freshness. These hill stations have pristine waterfalls, rivers, streams, spice plantations, diverse wildlife, huge tea plantations and best resorts.

Backwaters of Kerala are the arteries of the state. Trade and transportation have been done through them. The backwaters are formed by tidal action and flow of fresh river water. They are interconnected by rivers, canals and lakes. The backwaters are dotted by small islands. Bird's and aquatic life make this an active ecosystem. Kettuvallam (Large boats) unique to Kerala are the specialty of backwaters. Fresh marine cuisine is another attraction of the backwaters.
